Current Openings

Annual Internships

 

STEP offers a three-day-a-week internship for the public school year that provides the following:

 

  • weekly supervision by the clinical director and full-time licensed social workers

  • weekly intern group supervision

  • weekly individual supervision

  • check-ins throughout the week with various team members

  • access to the program psychiatrist

  • developing skills on how to write a clinical assessment

  • co-leading weekly therapeutic groups

  • a weekly staff meeting

  • an intern caseloads of up to two students

  • case conferences to work on case development

  • coaching on presenting in mid-point progress meeting and assessment meetings

  • training to learn how to present clinical assessments in formal district meetings
