Serving students in Grades 5-12 from communities throughout Massachusetts

Comprehensive clinical and academic assessment for each student

Intensive and highly individualized academic, behavior  and therapeutic interventions

Staff to student ratio approximately 1:3

 

Classes of no more than eight students

Educational services based on students’ needs and guided by the curriculum of the referring school and the student’s individualized educational plan

Individual and group counseling

Group counseling curriculum addresses life skills such as conflict resolution, positive decision-making, coping strategies, mindfulness, communication skills and understanding substance abuse

 

Psychiatrist available onsite for psychiatric consultation and treatment

Curriculum includes

off-site community service projects, adventure-based counseling and experiential academic activities and creative arts

Behavioral interventions such as pragmatics, anger management, problem-solving, and proactive coaching to develop and build social skills

Weekly progress reports sent to parents and the referring district, which identifies academic, clinical, social-emotional, behavioral and pragmatic progress

 

Individualized executive functioning support

A mindful approach philosophy to support positive choices

Physical education two times per week

Academic Testing – Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement-III

 

 

Our main focus is on facilitating a student’s successful reintegration to their previous setting or helping them transition to a more appropriate educational placement.

 

Program extensions are available upon school request.
